Janet Duplain is happily married to Ed and she has bought him Daytona 500 tickets for his birthday. Only things don't go as planned, Ed unexpectedly died leaving her alone. Now to honor his memory Janet finds herself making the trip to Florida by herself against her family's wishes.

Steve Brock loves Nascar and has come to watch the Daytona 500. But Steve soon finds himself rescueing a woman who captures his attention immediately. He learns that Janet has no idea what racing is all about and takes the opportunity to teach her, only to find that things are heating up between them.

Janet Duplain has surprised her husband with Daytona 500 tickets for his birthday. But things do not go as planned, Ed has suddenly passed away, leaving Janet all alone. Now she is making the trip to Florida in honor of his memory against her family's wishes, by herself. Steve Brock is a big fan of Nascar and has come to watch the Daytona 500. He no sooner gets in the gate and finds himself saving a damsel in distress. But the beauty has no clue about racing, so Brock has decided to teach her all she needs to know. Only he finds things heating up between them and Janet is still clinging to her husband's memory. Can Steve convince Janet it's okay to take a leap of faith?

Nancy O'Berry has done a wonderful job of creating realistic characters with charm. Nancy starts out with a great begining that has a tragedy of its own. Then O'Berry brings it full circle with all the emotions inbetween. I found myself caught up in the story line all the way to the end. Very nicely done Nancy, looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future.
