Amanda Feral must find a way to save her advertising agency or what she will owe her “silent partner” may be more than she can afford. After having her car repossessed, she cannot help but take the offer made to her by a horny nymph as a judge on an undead reality show. But will this show bring her the finances that she so desperately needs? Or will the death of the host pull the plug on her undead lifestyle?
Amanda’s lifestyle is on the skids. Between her debt to the evilly cute pigtailed Reapers, her car being repossessed, and her boyfriend dumping her she does not see how her life can get much worse. That is until the scummy wanna be playboy host of the new reality show she is supposed to be a judge on dies in a locked room. She must find some way to save her relationship, the show, and her wardrobe. What better way than figuring out if one of the wacky contestants is the murderer on film?
Battle of the Network Zombies is the third installation of Amanda Feral’s story, and a great read. Amanda’s mother reminds me of the mom on Monster-In-Law, and I hope that we see more of her in the next book! The pretty, pigtailed Reapers show their evil, masochistic side throughout this tale. Remember Children of the Corn anyone? These cute monsters put those creepy kids to shame. This is definitely a one of a kind series that I have thoroughly enjoyed. Even as it creeped me out, turned my stomach, and made me spit out my drink from laughter! Mark Henry is a force to be reckoned with in the writing world, and one I will follow religiously from here on out!
